it is a situation that none of us want to be in, but should probably recognise what to do in case we are. within the video below, vehicle specialists show us what occurs when your car is submerged in water -- and what you want to do to live on it.
apparently, there are two schools of concept on the problem, and every one of them is terrifying in and of itself. See what they did to break out on every occasion -- and make a few intellectual notes should this scary (but ultimately survivable) situation manifest to you.

Have you ever wondered what to do if your car started sinking?
It looks terrifying, but there is a way out.

Unfortunately, not many people know how to save themselves.
Statistically, quite a few people die in this way every year.

So what's one way to survive?
The answer is pretty surprising.

If your car falls over a banking and is submerged in water, every foot you descend adds around 850 pounds of pressure onto the car door.
That means it's basically impossible to get out.
But there is something you can do.
You just have to be patient.
In order to open the door, you have to wait until the entire car fills with water.
That way, the pressure is the same on each side.

When you do, it should open easily.
Just make sure that you've taken a deep breath before your head gets submerged.

Another way is to open the door as soon as your car hits water.
This is riskier, and only works if you're fully aware of what's
happening. Ideally, you open the door before the pressure hits, and you
can wiggle out as the car sinks.

If nothing else works, escaping through a window can be an alternative.
But this is only possible if someone else is around, or if your car hasn't yet gone too deep.
No matter what, you definitely don't want to be in this situation.
So while it's survivable, try to do your best to avoid it.
