#2. Here is how you do it.
Bar Lacing allows you to make your shoe fit tighter. Unlace the first two sets of holes at the top.

#3. Rework the lace pattern.
Pull one lace from one end and pull it across to the first hole near the toes. Pull it back into the second hole.

#4. Pull it into the hole twice.
Take the lace and pull it through to the opposite hole. Take the other end of the lace and pull through the same hole.

#5. Lace the shoe in the original method.
After you pulled the two laces out together, continue lacing
one across and criss cross. This leaves one lace with one cross over
only.

#6. You can do this trick with all of your converse shoes.
